The Fifth Food Group

There are times when we receive a lot of one item. Then there are other times that we receive SO MUCH of one item that we have fun with it. This time it was when we received well over 100 pounds of frozen pizza rolls. Those that visit our markets know that being creative and having fun is what Serving Good markets are all about. While we didn’t have a pizza roll challenge, we did announce that we had created a fifth food group. We put them in the meat department next to the deli table and encouraged everyone to take a bag. By the end of the night virtually everyone was willing to humor us with our new fifth food group (pizza rolls) and 100+ pounds of pizza rolls were gone.
